From childhood days as a summer visitor of the 1970’s to a thirty year resident of the lake, Ken’s passion for photography began with an influence from his grandfather and professional photographer Dale Morgan of the Spokesman Review. The camera became part of his life in high school as the year book photographer leading to a Bachelors Degree in Photography and Photographic Science at Eastern Washington University. Further inspirations of his favorite artists including Ansel Adams, Winslow Homer, and Monet, have inspired a passion for finding the feeling that makes every image what we search for. From work on Kodachrome and black and white large format film to full medium format digital photography, Ken’s passion of finding the next Ultima Thule of the lake is through the lens with you.
